The Essential Wireless Gaming Headset
The Razer Nari Essential is a wireless gaming headset that contains a lot of quality features for its budget price.
It is a comfortable piece of kit that offers powerful 7.1 channel surround sound, USB connectivity and a long battery life and will serve gamers well, either on PC or PS4.
Comfortable fit for long gaming sessions
The auto-adjusting headband features two parts, an outer frame of two aluminium bands and below that comfortable padding surrounding two wires. The headset ‘springs’ into shape to snugly fit your head.
The outside of the headset is made from sturdy plastic while the plush oval ear cups consist of leatherette over memory foam and also feature gel-infused ear cushions to stop heat build up during long gaming sessions.
Handy gaming headset controls
The controls and connections for the Razer Nari Essential are on the left ear cup. The power button, indicator LED, volume control and micro USB port for charging the unit are all here. The boom microphone, which features passive noise cancellation and sounds nice and clear, is also on the left ear cup and folds up vertically into a groove on the cup when you’re not using it.
Wireless gaming surround sound audio
The Razer Nasri Essential wireless gaming headset features lag-free audio on a 2.4 GHz frequency.
If you connect it to a PC, you can enjoy simulated 7.1 channel surround sound using Razer’s THX Spatial Audio through the Razer Synapse app.
The sounds during gaming come through clearly and distinctly.
The app also features a 10-band equalizer (EQ) which means you can adjust the sound levels, a handy feature because this headset can sound a bit bass-heavy in its original settings.
Wireless headset connectivity
The Razer Nasi Essential features wireless connectivity, a handy feature if you like to move around while gaming.
However this will limit you to using it with a PC or PS4 console (it doesn’t work with XBox).
u won’t be able to use this wireless gaming headset with platforms that might need a wired connection, such as your mobile phone.
Long battery life for many hours gaming
The Razer Nasi Essential’s long battery life means you can game for up to 16 hours at a time, making it ideal for extended gaming sessions.
However you must charge this wireless gaming headset directly through the USB port on its left earcup, meaning it will be out of action while you charge up.
The battery takes 4 hours to charge up from depleted.
